Whoopi
Now, I am confused… Whoopi said that the holocaust was not about race but about “Man’s inhumanity to man”…
And, the Jewish community is upset and she apologized for the comment and was suspended for two weeks!!!
OMB (U.S. Office of Management and Budget) requires that race data be collected for a minimum of five groups: White, Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders (which I do not agree with. The requirement to follow that rule is wrong and er… ”racist”!!…but that’s for another day’s discussion.
Okay…unofficially most folks use ‘race’ to describe the accepted way, that is, as stated above…

Still others argue that, among humans, race has no taxonomic (grouping) significance because all living humans belong to the same subspecies, Homo sapiens sapiens.”
Since the second half of the 20th century, the association of race with the discredited theories of scientific racism has contributed to race becoming increasingly seen as a largely pseudoscientific system of classification. Although still used in general contexts, race has often been replaced by less ambiguous, and loaded terms: populations, people(s), ethnic groups or communities, depending on context.
My interpretation… “race” is a made up connotation by white folks to distinguish themselves as better than others…“ So they have to say, “pure” to make themselves, ”special and apart” and therefore Jewish people not being “pure”, are therefore not “pure white so the holocaust was not about race,,, but about different beliefs, i.e., not a “superior race” when there is according to a large segment of that discipline, no such thing as race.
So, the ”faux pas” by Whoopi, was deemed “unacceptable” by her employer because like a lot of folks, “the term, “race” is defined by American standards, and accounted for; that is, “White, Black/ African American, Asian, Alaskan/ Aleut, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islanders, but since the term no longer exists in modern culture, (supposedly) the genocide could not be about “race” could it??……. It was about the peoples’ differences compared to their oppressors, in religion and bias, and er… ”bigotry? …. just like she said!!!!
But she was “shown the error” in her comment, received her forty lashes, made to put on her nun’s outfit, apologize, and lose her pay….
My Jewish friends, are you making much ado about nothing???
And you, ABC, are you knee-jerking in response because, perhaps a lot of money you make is from the Jewish community, who are wrongfully upset that they were mistakenly, by U.S standards considered “White” when it doesn’t exist?? And Jewish “expert” why re you on television lauding the actions ABC took…and looking for more than an ”apology” which seems not to assuaged you anger?
Whoopi apologized because she did not want to lose her gig plus there were other controversies hovering over her head and she did not need the additional grief…
Unsuspend Whoopi right now, she didn’t hurt anyone with the comment……because from my perspective she spoke correctly.
Lastly, these United States of America perpetuates racism and bigotry by counting people by race, especially if “race” does not exist!!! Come into the 20th century….. Determine folk’s livable needs by economic standards, and provide the assistance they require by that standard, because what you are doing, is RACIST!!!!
Black Women Judges
Well, I see where the immoral right has a problem with a Black female being a Justice of the Supreme Court…. What a bunch of sniggling liars and perverts!!! Oh, I’m not upset…for them it’s business as usual… They cowardly rammed amy phoney barrett the converted nun with 10 kids through the Senate, so she could let America know she does not believe in women’s rights…”proselytizing her catholic values” simply because she can afford 10 kids….or for that matter, britt kanvangnaw allegedly harassed women and getting pissed when it came to light … kanvanaugnaw, who followed in the shoes of another disgraced harasser, sleptondabenchthomas…, and lastly the two anti-dwarf- minds, roberts and gosuck…. All leave us wondering where the hell did these small minded anti-geniuses came from.
I guess the Court was supposed to be fair, honest, progressive, and above reproach…but the lying immoral biased repubs screwed that up so now we are a forced to endure decades of bias… and a stark lack of common sense that is pulling us further into the morass of mediocre ineptitude of justice.
My hope is that more women of experience and character get on the Court….and Joe….please let Congress know we need more fair justices, at least five or six more… two of Asian descent, two of Latin American descent, and one or two of Original American descent… not because of race (like we just discussed) but because of a fair representation of our population….
Lastly, I usually don’t comment on international events, except when they directly impact America, but….

You got more land than everybody, except your fellow crime boss. You can’t lead your country except by threat and intimidation and you want more land?? If your people are stupid enough to let you get them starved, frozen, and disconnected from the rest of the World, then you will go down in the true history books as the greedy maniac who caused the second breakup of your federation…..You are stupid to even try to plead the you are intimidated by Ukraine or Poland or the Baltics!!! You’re like the cat in the commercial about Cheetos and the cat has crumbs all over its body, lips, paws and wants to say, “I was not there!!!!” C’mon man!!
